What is an SSL certificate and do I need one?+
An SSL certificate encrypts data between your website and visitors, showing the padlock in the browser. It's essential for any website — Google marks sites without SSL as 'Not Secure', and it's required for accepting payments. If you have a website, you need SSL.
What's the difference between DV, OV and EV certificates?+
DV (Domain Validated) only verifies you own the domain — issued in minutes, ideal for blogs and informational sites. OV (Organisation Validated) verifies your business identity — better for company websites. EV (Extended Validation) is the highest level — full legal entity verification, displays your company name in the browser, required for banking and major e-commerce.

For a standard business website: OV SSL. For an e-commerce store handling payments: EV SSL. For a site with multiple subdomains (app.yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com): Wildcard SSL. For managing multiple separate websites: Multi-Domain SSL. For software distribution: Code Signing. For secure business email: S/MIME. What is a Wildcard SSL certificate?+
A Wildcard SSL secures your main domain plus all first-level subdomains with a single certificate (e.g. *.yourdomain.com covers app.yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com, shop.yourdomain.com). Much more economical than buying separate certificates for each subdomain.
What is a Code Signing certificate?+
A Code Signing certificate lets you digitally sign your software, scripts, drivers and executables. This eliminates the 'Unknown Publisher' warning that Windows shows for unsigned software. EV Code Signing additionally grants instant Microsoft SmartScreen reputation — critical for software distributed to enterprise customers.
What are Verified Mark and Common Mark certificates?+
They are BIMI mark certificates, not website SSL and not S/MIME. Supporting mail clients can show your logo next to authenticated mail after you enforce DMARC (and typically SPF and DKIM). VMC is for a registered trademark or government mark. CMC is the common-mark path when that trademark route does not apply. Inbox support is not universal. How do I request a mark certificate?+

What is CodeGuard?+
CodeGuard is an off-site website backup service: files plus MySQL or Microsoft SQL, restore, change alerts, and malware scanning. It is not a TLS certificate and not a WAF. Plans are sized by storage and number of sites (Basic through Business). Connect with SFTP/FTP or a WordPress plugin — the plugin uses more storage. Filter the catalog by Website backup. After fulfilment, signed-in users open the portal from Dashboard → SSL & backups.
How do I request CodeGuard?+

cWatch Web is managed website security: WAF, CDN/DDoS, malware scanning, and a vendor operations centre. It is not a TLS certificate. One licence typically covers one domain. Basic is free and does not need a quote. Pro and Premium add continuous scanning. Filter the catalog by Malware & WAF or open /brands/cwatch.
How do I request cWatch?+
Basic is free — no quote. For Starter, Pro, and Premium: We respond to quote requests within 1 business day on business days. After a paid order is confirmed, Crozsi ops places the licence. You connect DNS/CDN as the vendor panel requires.
